A call for submission of papers is extended for the Tenth International Conference on Cultural Economics that will take place in Barcelona, Spain on 14-17 June 1998. Papers will be welcomed in all areas involved in the application of economic analysis to the arts, culture and related areas, including (but not limited to): Please send a provisional title and one page abstract of the proposed paper (preferably by email) to the President of our Scientific Committee : Final papers should be submitted via E-mail (eco.cult@eco.ub.es), or on a 3 1/2" diskette, Macintosh or PC compatible, using Microsoft Word up to version 6. Notes and figures must be located at the end of the paper. We also recommend that you mail a copy of the manuscript. The paper copy must be single-spaced, and not in excess of 4,500 words, including end notes and bibliography. The names of author(s) and paper title must be displayed at the top of page 1 of your manuscript. An abstract not exceeding 150 words must accompany your paper.Professor John O'Hagan, Program Chair The deadline for receival of
abstracts is January 31, 1998. Submissions will be refereed by the
Conference Program Committee and authors will be notified of acceptance
in writing. Please provide, where applicable, e-mail, fax and telephone
number along with your abstract. Potential attendees requiring early notification
of acceptance of a paper to secure travel funding should indicate this
in an accompanying cover letter.
